Guitar Building

Hello everyone and welcome to my website. I’m looking forward to having some wood chips flying in the workshop with a number of new projects on the bench. Presently I have two classical guitars almost ready to be strung up. Both have different braced tops both Engleman Spruce one with a Sapele Mahogany back and sides and the other Australian Blackwood from the Otway Ranges in Victoria. The two guitars are a little bit smaller instrument similar to a Torres Style build the Blackwood guitar has a 650 scale and the Sapele a 635 scale. It will be interesting to hear the difference between the two as both are my first attempt at building a classical guitar. The Mini acoustic is finished and has turned out a great little guitar. I hope you enjoy reading my experiences building guitars and frequent my web site. Thanks for looking.

Guitar building and woodwork are my passions. I am retired and now have the time to put toward these passions. This website is to share with those interested some of my works and also my friends work who build string instruments with me in my workshop. This site may take a little time to get up and filled with new, student and restoration builds. Enjoy :)
